Winnie The Pooh Bear Cookies

My youngest child will be graduating high school two weeks from today. Two weeks. My youngest child. It still hasn't really hit me. It seems to come in little spurts. I think God knows that's all I can handle. Tonight my daughter and I went to a party supply store and bought a bunch of graduation party supplies for my son's graduation. I was so happy and excited as we found special party items and clappers and banners. Then I picked up these really cool clingy sticker things that I could put on Nick's car and on his bedroom window. And then I CRIED. In the middle of the store. Cried. My poor daughter. She must be so embarrassed to go anywhere with me! But... thankfully she gets me. And thanks to everyone that has left comments and sent me emails reminding me to get waterproof mascara. I'll be ready. No one will want to sit next to me at the graduation ceremony, but I'll be ready to watch my baby boy walk across that stage in cap and gown. How exciting!

A friend asked me to make honey jar cookies. It got me thinking of my obsession with Winnie The Pooh when my kids were younger. Look at that tiny little Pooh Bear I'm holding. What an amazing 18 years it has been.
So for Nick's graduation announcement, I added this. I can't read it without crying, but it is my sentiments to Nick exactly.

So back to the cookies. I made the honey jars using a cookie jar cookie cutter from CheapCookieCutters.com and I made the Pooh Bear cookie from one of my very first cookie cutters from many, many years ago. I believe it was a Williams Sonoma set.
I have the whole set Winnie The Pooh, Eeyore, Tigger and Piglet cookie cutters. Hopefully soon, I'll get them all posted.

Congratulations to Nicky!

This weekend I'm working on a ton of cycling cookies for National Bike Month and then starting next week I'll be in a flurry of graduation cookies. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
