Waiting For Santa

Little Abigail is awaiting Santa's arrival. No she doesn't know who Santa is. No she doesn't know how to open presents. But yes, we're excited for her. This will be Abigail's first Christmas. I can't believe she's been in our lives for almost 5 months already.

Last night I wrapped all the Christmas presents. I've done almost NO shopping this season so the gifts under the tree are very few, but there are lots of little gummy teethers at least. I have no ideas of what to get for Nick, Mellissa and Sarah. I'm just not a shopper - at all. And it was so much easier when they were little.

Since we are paying for college, we are hoping to have a lot of TIME together this Christmas instead of gifts. Time together really is the most important thing. I know my kids feel the same way. Well I made some reindeer cookies so that Rudolph could bring Santa here.

Mellissa drew the adorable design for me.

See doesn't Abigail look excited that Rudolph will bring Santa to her house!
I saw an amazing video on YouTube the other day. Please take a moment and watch it. I promise you'll enjoy it!

Merry Christmas everyone!

  1. Merry 1st Christmas to your little granddaughter Cristin! We are having a small Christmas here too. I keep telling the boys they are getting a cookie shop for Christmas, but they don't seem as excited. LOL After Friday in Newtown, I think it is perfect to just be spending time together for Christmas and just oogle over that beautiful baby. Christmas Hugs my cookier friend ♥

  2. It's a special Christmas indeed at your house and little Abigail will bring all the magic back into the season for you all. Your reindeer cookies are adorable. Loving the stripes and teeny lights on the antlers.

Wishing you and your family and wonderful and blessed Christmas. Hope you get some rest over the holiday period and safe travels to the returning college boys :)
