Leopard Print for a Baby Shower

Today I have some very fun cookies to share with you. These were for a baby shower with a pink and brown leopard print theme. My friend chose 3 cookie cutters - onesie, bib and rattle and then let me run with the designs which is always my favorite thing to do. So here's what I came up with:

I only made one of the baby face with leopard print bow and I made it just because I wanted to see it with this theme. It turned out to be my favorite of the set.

So I made lots of baby rattles with leopard print and a big white bow
and baby onesies with leopard print and I made a pretty ruffle using buttercream icing (the rest of the cookie is decorated with glaze icing as usual). This onesie cutter is from
and baby bibs with leopard print too. This bib cutter is from
and that one baby face with an adorable leopard print bow on her head. I love her. She is my own made cookie cutter and available in my Etsy shop here.
and then I bagged up all the cookies with a personalized cookie bag topper
 and here they all are
and then I had to find a photo of Abigail in leopard print to match my cookies of course :-)

I have some very exciting news to share with you, but I'm going to do it along with a give-away in a few days. Keep an eye out. I also have a challenge coming for all my cookie decorating friends too just as soon as I get a few minutes to figure it all out.

Science Beaker Cookies and a FREE Printable

You know when you make science cookies for that perfect little science geek and you get frustrated that there really should be a puff of smoke that goes with that science beaker and there isn't a cookie cutter like that and you get frustrated and you make your own? Yaaa me too.

It's funny how many of my cookie cutter designs come out of a frustration that there should be this or that included. Like a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow and a bow on top of a baby girl head and a puff of smoke on top of a science beaker. So I made lots and lots of science beaker cookies.

and then I made some fun cookie tags and shared them for you to use too. Just click on the picture below and download them and personalize them for your own.
and then you can make some cool science beaker cookies with a puff of smoke on top for all your science geek friends.
and then we have the adventures of Abigail, the antennae girl, eating a snack while visiting the aquarium. Just look at that face!

Flowers To Perk Up A Sick One

A friend of mine asked me if I would make flower cookies for her sick friend. She gave me the opportunity to "play" and since she needed them quickly, she asked me to use colors that I was already using in my other projects. I had fun with these in my favorite colors.
I started with a bunch of huge daisies. Yes, huge. I think these are about 6" cookies!
I went for a "retro" type of look and I really liked these with a bright white outline
and then I made some point-edge daisies. Can you tell that I know NOTHING about flowers. These probably have a name, but to me they are point-edge daisies. It works.
I added little detail around the center and hoped the colors didn't bleed together. They came out really cute using all the colors.
and lastly I added in some tulips, again with the white outline

What fun colors huh?! I love bright and energetic colors! What do you think? Would these flower cookies make you feel better if you were sick?
and then I put them all in a clear-top box so the recipient could see them and start getting better right away.
I couldn't find a photo of Abigail wearing something with flowers, so you'll have to put up with this adorable one of her holding flowers. Oh my gosh she is so stinkin adorable!

I'm hoping to show you graduation cookies soon since I made about a gazillion of them, but I haven't had a chance to watermark the photos yet and I'm still working on cookies to finish out May Madness. We're having a big birthday party for one of my daughter's this weekend, so I need to get started on those cookies too. What are you working on? Playing with any new designs?
